Smart City Works Featured at May 23 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Council Meeting
Dear Chamber Business Executives:
As many of you know, on April 30 the Chamber announced its new Incubator|Accelerator|Actuator (I|A|A) Partner Program and held a signing ceremony with our first partners in this initiative, the Inova Personalized Health Accelerator and Smart City Works. The Chamber is very excited about these new partnerships which will foster collaboration between the broad-based business community and innovative and entrepreneurial organizations in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area.
The I|A|A Partner Program pairs a select group of the region’s leading business Incubators, Accelerators, and Actuators with Chamber Collaboration Councils. The Collaboration Councils will be comprised of representatives from the area’s most innovative corporations, government entities, associations, foundations and others from the industries to which the incubators, accelerators and/or actuators are aligned.
Our next I&E Council meeting, which is scheduled for May 23 from 8:00-9:30am at the Chamber’s office will feature Smart City Works (while the June I&E Council meeting will feature the Inova Personalized Health Accelerator).
We invite you to join us for this opportunity to hear from our new partner, Smart City Works about its mission and cohort(s), and the proposed programming initiatives under our new partnership agreement. We will also begin the process of creating a Collaboration Council comprised of Chamber members that are focused on IoT infrastructure and aligned with the mission of Smart City Works.
We encourage you to share this invitation with your colleagues and we look forward to your engagement and support of our I|A|A partner at our I&E Council meeting on May 23.
Kind regards,
