patriot pipeline internship program testimonials
Northern Virginia Chamber Member, Employment Enterprises, recently took advantage of the Patriot Pipeline Internship program (a new program established between the Northern Virginia Chamber and George Mason University) for the first time and hired George Mason Student, Brianne Tomko, as their intern. Below you will find a few testimonials from Brianne and other Employment Enterprises employees about the internship program:
“Employment Enterprises frequently referred to the ‘Patriot Pipeline’ materials not only for their own guidance, but as a primer to set the expectations for the week and, equally as important, to explain why particular tasks were being assigned as part of the internship. The program assisted me while I was seeking an opportunity and I saw the ways in which my internship supervisor benefitted from having the guidance and support of George Mason University.” – Brielle Burris, Intern
“The materials George Mason University’s Patriot Pipeline Program provided was the guidebook to ensuring Brielle’s experience was mutually satisfying and productive.” – Brianne Tomko, Employment Enterprises Employee
“The Patriot Pipeline Internship Program sent us one of the best interns I have ever worked with in my 23 years in the industry. From the initial internship paperwork, to the mid-term evaluations, and certainly the staff-student interactions, this program is worthwhile and one that we will continue to use. I hope to find five more Brielle’s for immediate hire.” – Colleen Clokus, Chief Operating Officer, Employment Enterprises
Brielle’s internship ended at the beginning of May and was offered a full-time position as Recruiting Admin.
