In addition to providing entrepreneurial mentoring and startup assistance to our student and faculty entrepreneurs, we also offer startup services to entrepreneurs throughout Northern Virginia.
Through the Mason Enterprise Center (MEC), Mason offers co-working space and incubator services at four locations (Fairfax, Leesburg, Springfield, and Warrenton). We also offer small business advising through the Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network and additional programs to support the growth of small businesses.

Mason’s Center for Regional Analysis (CRA) provides research and technical assistance that focus on economic, workforce, fiscal, demographic, housing, and social issues that shape the future growth of communities and regions. CRA works with communities on strategic economic development planning, analyzes the impacts of policy changes, and helps businesses, industries, and government understand the roles they play in local, state, and national economic competitiveness. CRA is also widely known for economic outlook events that help local business and government leaders prepare for challenges and opportunities in a rapidly changing marketplace.
